This was a Legacy GPT for the GP in Columbus Ohio at the end of July. Adam and I attended this event and ended up Adam finishing around 9th and me finishing in the top 4. Unfortunately hunger took over so we didn't stick around to see what the final rankings were, so I'll have to update this post after its updated on DCI. I ran an Ichorid deck and Adam ran aggro loam.

Here's the decklist that I ran:
Creatures[31]:
4x Ichorid
4x Putrid Imp
4x Stinkweed Imp
4x Golgari Grave Troll
4x Narcomoeba
3x Tireless Tribe
3x Golgari Thug
2x Sadistic Hypnotist
1x Flame Kin Zealot
1x Iona, Shield of Emeria
1x Yosei, the Morning Star

Spells[16]:
4x Bridge From Below
4x Breakthrough
4x Dread Return
4x Cabal Therapy

Lands[13]:
4x City of Brass
4x Gemstone Mine
4x Cephalid Coliseum
1x Tarnished Citadel

Sideboard[15]:
3x Leyline of the Void
3x Chain of Vapors
3x Ray of Revelation
3x Ancient Grudge
3x Darkblast

Round 1 Ichorid vs Zoo (0-2)
Game 1 the Zoo deck just exploded on me and I was dead by turn 4 due to a couple Wild Nactyls and a lot of burn thrown to my face.
Game 2 I made a horrid play mistake and missed that he had a Tormod's Crypt in his hand when I hard casted my Cabal Therapy. Needless to say next turn my graveyard was removed and I couldn't recover after that.

Round 2 Ichorid vs Eldrazi Jank (2-0)
Game 1 & Game 2 my deck just exploded onto the table and he was dead by turn 3 - 4 from an endless horde of zombie tokens.

Round 3 Ichorid vs Mono White Aggro (2-1)
Game 1 he just out paced me and once I hit a snag with my dredging he pretty much just rolled me.
Game 2 I got a Dread Return off to being in Iona calling....you guessed it White. Two turns later he scooped.
Game 3 was a hard fought match. He played Samurai of the Pale Curtain which pretty much made my Bridges useless. Fortunately I dredged up a couple of Narcomoebas and was able to get a Dread Return off on Iona calling White. With Iona on the board he stopped swinging at me and I was able to get another Narcomoeba into play and swing with it until he was dead.

Round 4 Ichorid vs Reanimator (1-2)
Game 1 ended up going to Reanimator after he reanimated the Inkwell Leviathan. I attempted to stave him off til I could come up with an answer but ultimately there wasn't really an answer lol.
Game 2 I started the match with a Leyline of the Void in play and that pretty much shut him down. He never did draw an answer to the Leyline which got me the win.
Game 3 I mulliganed down to 4 cards trying to get a Leyline which I never did find and ultimately he reanimated the Leviathan for the win.

Round 5 Ichorid vs A form of Countertop (2-1)
Game 1 I got off a Dread Return to bring the Sadistic Hypnotist and made him discard his hand on turn 2. After that I just proceeded to make zombies and continue swinging until he was dead.
Game 2 he got a lot of enchantment and artifacts into play that basically stopped me from being able to swing at him. Also he play Wheel of Sun and Moon (one graveyard hate that I didn't see coming) and that pretty much stopped me in my tracks. Then he used thopter foundry to make a few tokens to swing out for the win.
Game 3 was basically a repeat of game 1. Got the hypnotist out and put him into top deck mode on turn 2.

*Cut to top 8*
Round 6 Ichorid vs Survival (2-0)
Game 1 I was able to get Iona into play on turn 2 calling green. With Iona on the board that pretty much stopped him from playing anything and allowed me to beat him down with Iona and Nacromoebas and Ichorids.
Game 2 he kept a really bad hand with only 2 wastelands in his hand. He didn't top deck any more lands which made it easy to make dudes and keep swinging.

Round 7 Ichorid vs Reanimator(again)(1-2)
Game 1 was his until he made a play mistake and reanimated one of my guys that took his life total too low to survive my next swing with zombies.
Game 2 & Game 3 never could get the Leyline in hand which resulted in me getting mowed down by the Inkwell Leviathan...again & again.

All in all ended the evening with a record of 4-3 and I think Adams record was 2-2-1. Definitely was worth the trip to learn a little more about Legacy before the Ohio GP.
